IBM & Ogilvy France Create Ads With A New Purpose

In some ways I measure my life experience with urban design as Before Urbanized and After Urbanized. The 2011 documentary by Gary Hustwit opened my eyes to the importance of smart urban landscapes—largely because some of the solutions for common infrastructure problems in the U.S. have already been solved in other countries, in ways that I had never experienced. On that note: IBM has teamed up with Ogilvy France in a new campaign to create beautiful outdoor advertising with functional benefits never seen before: a bench, a shelter and a ramp that are not only designed to be beautiful, but to be useful to city dwellers as well. Reading about best practices is nice. Practicing them is even nicer.
